The Secretary-General (SG) of the African Organisation for Standardisation (ARSO), Dr. Hermogène Nsengimana, on Thursday, September 9, 2026, led a delegation from ARSO to meet with the Director-General (DG) of the Ghana Standards Authority (GSA), Prof Agyei George and management members to discuss plans for the upcoming 33rd ARSO General Assembly & Golden Jubilee Celebrations to be hosted in Ghana next year. Dr. Nsengimana expressed his satisfaction with the progress made, commended Prof. Agyei for his leadership, and congratulated the GSA team on its achievements so far. He added that he looked forward to further engagements to ensure the success of the General Assembly. Prof. Agyei, on his part, assured the SG of GSA’s readiness to host Africa at such a momentous occasion and noted that plans are in place to engage senior government officials to help with the organisation of the Assembly.
