What we know
The GSA, on Monday, December 8, 2025, received a sum of GH₵1.5 million from the MTN Ghana Foundation to support cancer diagnosis at the institution’s Histopatology Laboratory. This investment spans over a 5-year period, contributing GH₵300,000 annually to the GSA to help the laboratory purchase consumables and test kits to facilitate cancer diagnosis. The cheque was received on behalf of the Authority by the Director-General, Prof. George Adjei and his deputy Dr. Awal Mohammed, as well as other officials, who expressed their gratitude and pledged prudent use of the money.
